Unless students are in the final stages of rehearsing for a performance, most acting classes begin with a warm-up before moving on to the main focus of the session. Students are introduced to a particular technique, practitioner or approach through discussion, demonstration and practical examples, before exploring and applying the learning for themselves.
Classes usually end with an opportunity to reflect on the work, helping students understand what they have discovered and how they can apply it to their future acting.
